We have startup ideas. We have a network. We have access to funds.

We partner with doers like you to help us launch those startups.

Our current Startup projects

  • Soil lab [launched]

We’re launching a microbiological soil lab. Our goal is to help farmers, agronomists and food organisations track and measure the progress of life presence in their soil. Interested?

  • Mobile biochar unit

Have you heard of biochar before? If not, look it up. We already produce biochar on site to heat our bar. But we’re looking to design a small unit that is mobile, and that heats water (think boiler that can be used for your pool, green house or garden office). Interested in bringing this venture to the next step with us?

  • Mobile chicken coop

An increasing number of real estate owners and market gardeners are introducing chickens on their land. Chickens have more impact when they move on the ground. We’re designing an easily movable version of a chicken coop that people can buy and assemble themselves, inspired from the ChickShaw MiniMe coop.

  • Seed bank

Seed shortages pose one of the largest bottlenecks to ecosystem restoration success. Without temperature-regulated storage conditions, many seeds lose viability within one year of collection. We are in talks with Terraformation to acquire one of their seed banks to manage seeds native to our territories. Like the idea?

  • Consumer goods

Ecosystem restoration is necessary. Ecosystem restoration is beautiful. But how do we share the story with those who don’t know? Well, we’re creating consumer good brands (think tea, seeds, mushrooms) that tell the regenerative narrative through smart branding. Have experience in marketing and want to launch these products with us?

  • Beer & Bread

Beer and bread require supplies that have the opportunity to radically transform our landscapes in Belgium. We’d like to produce beer out of local Kernza, and bread out of a bunch of carefully selected grains, inspired by Chef Dan Barber’s practices. Are you into either beer or bread?
